Maintained by the Leavenworth Winter Sports Club, Leavenworth offers 26km of tracks and skating lanes that offer a variety of skiing terrain in four areas around Leavenworth. Five kilometers are lighted for night skiing.  Our nordic trails are less than 2 km from down town Leavenworth. Locals often ski in the morning before work or even on their lunch break! Cross country skiing is so accessible in Leavenworth, some members have been known to ski every day we are open. Night skiing is available on the Ski Hill trails.

Internationally renowned skiing, hiking, fishing, and camping is right here in the Leavenworth Area. Both the Leavenworth and Lake Wenatchee (509-763-3103, 22960 State Hwy 207) Ranger Stations can provide information on outdoor recreation, sno-park permits, trailhead permits. The Leavenworth District is in charge of the Enchantment Wilderness Permit system. Restricted overnight permits are required from June 15th until October 15th.
